About the event
This workshop will teach principles in how natural resource businesses can promote skills, services and products, and assist participants in establishing an online presence to help market their business and engage in e-commerce. The first 20 registrants will receive a one-year basic subscription to Wix and during the workshop, Kōnea Ola's staff and a contracted professional will assist participants in building a basic web site for their business. Hawaiian culture and history will be included throughout the workshop, including the structure of the event (invitations and protocols), highlighting of Hawaiian leaders who exemplify the promotion of local and sustainable products and services. Refreshments from the land will be served. Liana Katase, a KS graduate/alumnus, seasoned natural resource professional and skilled marketer, will lead the event, with support from Kōnea Ola's board members and staff.
